With more and more employers dumping their health-care benefit plans and the slumping economy stretching pocketbooks to the max, it may seem tempting and harmless for people to simply borrow someone else's health-insurance benefits to get medical care.

June 20, I was the guest of Rep. Brita Sailer at two health care meetings in Park Rapids. We met with administrators and care providers from long-term care facilities, hospitals and other health-related industries.

You can expect to wait to be served if government provides health care. And you can expect ultimately a bureaucrat will decide what health care you receive.
