It has been 20 years or more since I last visited Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun in Kansas City. I forget what the inducement was on that weekend, but it must have lured every family -- and I mean every family -- from a multistate area. It was the theme park equivalent of phone-booth stuffing.
