Eleven years ago LifeWay Christian Resources, a publishing house of the Southern Baptist Convention, flipped the script on previous vacation Bible School practices and began promoting themed vacation Bible schools. This year their interactive and entertaining VBS program, Outrigger Island, transports kids to an exotic island outpost.
