Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Senator Edward Kennedy named fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton to lead a working group on insurance coverage in the effort to write health-care legislation.

KIII-TV and the Nueces County Medical Society and Alliance have teamed up once again for the 43rd Annual Health Fair on Saturday, August 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the American Bank Center Exhibit Hall.

The release of medical records is common practice for presidential and vice presidential candidates, but the Republican nominee for vice president had earlier declined to provide any health information.

The Health Division said it is organizing emergency transport for all health workers because of the public transport strike. All those needing transport should contact the Nurse Management of the various sections immediately.

Free blood-pressure screenings, exercise and diet advice, and free fruit and vegetables will be available today from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a health fair in Washington Artillery Park, which is across Decatur Street from Jackson Square.
