A Sawtooth Middle School student was suspended Tuesday and could face expulsion, after school officials found a list with a dozen students names on it titled “Death Note,” Meridian school officials said Wednesday.

Officials at St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute and Mercy Medical Center in Nampa announced Wednesday a partnership to improve cancer services in the western Treasure Valley.

Officials are expected to announce Tuesday total funding for a $2.7 million community detox center for people with mental-health crises and for addicts who need to detoxify.
