NEW BRITAIN — Central Connecticut State University has received a major grant from the Connecticut Department of Higher Education to continue its efforts in increasing minority enrollment and retention.

BRAMPTON - More than 700 staff, parents, students and volunteers in Peel public schools will be honoured this year during the Peel District School Board Education Week Celebrations.

Craig Broady of Swampscott was recently awarded a one-time scholarship of $1,500 by Simon Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and career development opportunities to youth.

Four students unlike any others are graduating from Bellevue Community College -- they're the first to graduate from a program designed for students with developmental disabilities.
