Thomas Lindsay, deputy director of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will speak on "Democratic Education for the 21st Century" from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in Room 140 of Schaeffer Hall. A reception will follow on the first floor of the Old Capitol Museum.
