Grant McOmie, outdoor and environmental reporter at KATU (2) for more than 22 years, has been let go by the station. John Tamerlano, KATU's general manager, confirmed Tuesday that McOmie's contract will not be renewed when it ends April 30, but Tamerlano said McOmie hasn't been terminated.
