Dr. Virginia G. Carter, executive director of the .Kentucky Humanities Council, received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities Degree from Union College at the spring commencement ceremony May 3. Browns finish 1-2 Michael L. Brown and Michael W. Brown of Lafayette High School took first and second place in a chemistry competition at UK.
