Between 25 to 30 employees at Hard Rock Park were laid off earlier this week, a park spokesman said. The $400 million theme park is suffering from the weak economy and lowered consumer spending, said Jim Olecki, a spokesman with New York-based public relations firm Weber Shandwick, which works for the park. Both full- and part-time employees in various areas of the business were laid off, he said.
