(RTTNews) - New orders for durable goods declined 0.5 percent in April versus a consensus expected drop of 1.5 percent, note the analysts at First Trust Advisors. Excluding transportation, orders increased 2.5 percent, easily beating the consensus expected decline of 0.5 percent.
