Women’s softball league The Western Springs Recreation Department is now accepting registration for its women’s softball league. Women (moms and/or 29-and-older) are invited to play 12-inch slow pitch softball in a semi-competitive setting.

A Conway Parks and Recreation Department employee has been charged with theft after allegedly embezzling as much as $5,640 from city sports centers between 2003 and 2007.
