DURHAM, NC -- The Nasher Museum of Art’s upcoming exhibition “El Greco to Velázquez: Art during the Reign of Philip III” has inspired a celebration of the Golden Age of Spain throughout the Research Triangle region.

SHAMOKIN — A gorilla, a ghost and several coal crackers wandered the streets of Shamokin on Saturday, and no one seemed to mind, not even the out-of-towners.

According to Karen Lee, festival director, that is the official recipe for the fourth annual Court Days Festival to be presented by Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance on Saturday June 7. The festival recreates the 1850’s of the central Shenandoah Valley
